WELCOME TO THE PIPER!!!
We hope that this will provide an opportunity for us to keep up with the happenings in your families. Articles posted here will be kept here for a while and will be posted asap after you submit them.

Just a quick note to let everyone know that Elder Thomas #1 and Elder Thomas #2
are home. They returned from their missions in Florida and California
Wednesday night. They had marvelous experiences and will report their
missions this Sunday at 2:20 at the Parley’s 3rd Ward (on Stringham
Ave) for those of you in the SLC area.
Colin’s second to last area included Sandy & Joe’s ward in Agoura Hills! He had dinner with them the Monday before he left. Spencer went to Disneyworld the Saturday before he returned and got called up to play the “Beast” in Belle’s 3:00 pm show. Chase will be here from Big Sky, Mt. for their report and try to join us for parts of the reunion. Reid is playing baseball for the summer.
We will catch up on everything else at the reunion…all our guys should be there.

Hey all! Yes, I am alive and well. It's been so long since I've been to a
reunion - I think the last one I went to was at Brianhead, right after I had
gotten married to the marvelous and talented Sanford Porter. Since then we've
been busy. We have a 7 year old daughter, Isabelle, a precocious 5 year old,
Gwyneth, and the joy of our lives, 1 year old Jack Sanford. We live in
Taylorsville but are selling our home and moving east to Salt Lake. Because
we're in the middle of selling our home we weren't able to plan on the reunion
because we just didn't know when our house would sell, etc. So we're missing out
again. Hopefully next time. I really miss seeing many of you! Sandy is busy with
work and his part-time occupation, acting. He is currently rehearsing for a the
Hale Centre Theatre's production of "1776". I get to perform now and
then, in between babies and such. "1776" runs July 10th through August
21st and Sandy is in the Tues, Thurs, Sat cast, in case anyone in Utah is
interested in attending. Just call the Salt Lake Hale at 984-9000. It's a great
show! I know lots of people are in Utah and I really think we need to arrange a
bbq or something. Brent? Allison? John, are you in Utah? Anyway, maybe once we
get settled in our new home I'll get on the ball and get us all together to
catch up. Hope you all are doing well!
Love, Jenn (daughter of Wayne & Dot)

No one else
in our family seems to report any news to the bigger Boyack clan, so I, Merrilyn,
will do so. I love to read the news from those of you who write in the
Piper, and keep track of the best bunch of cousins in the world.
#1 Maureen (Reid's second daughter) graduated from BYU, magna cum laude,
last month. Shortly after graduation she became engaged and will be
married in the Fresno Temple on June 26, 2004, to Nathan Hutchings.
#2 On May 26th our 20th grandchild made her appearance. Her parents are
Brent and Melissa Everett, and they are naming her "Bronwyn."
I've never heard of that name, but Brent assures me it is a perfectly good Welsh
name. Baby B weighed in at 6# 11 oz., was 19 inches tall, has red hair,
and is "Way cute!" according to her father. She arrived just one
day before her big sister, Kendall, turned two.
That's the big news. I'm still living at my "home away from
home" and the prospect of getting out grows dimmer as my balance and
walking ability get worse. I still function a bit, with great effort, when
I'm sitting down, and have learned to prepare some of the many projects I want
to finish so that I can work on them when I'm away from my computer.
Love and blessings to you all, Merrilyn

Ye Cousins!
The Dudleys are alive and well and still in Rocklin, California. We had a
very mini-reunion with the Thomas family, Knecht family, etc. when we attended
Shauna Knecht's wedding this past summer. We wish we could see more of you
more often!
Our kids are really growing up. Nathan is now 13, Clifton 15, and Shalise
17. It is a whole new world when your kids start going to dances, scout
activities, dating, and driving! Chris and I are trying to hang in there!
Chris continues providing computer support for Delta Dental. Maureen is a
"Jane of all trades" keeping the family going and running a small
transcription business from the home. Shalise enjoys singing and is going
to Carnegie Hall this spring. Clif loves playing jazz on his
trumpet. Nate is taking piano lessons and loves to still play with his dog
Snow Bear (now 17 1/2 years old).
We're not sure we'll be able to make the reunion this summer but look forward to
whenever it is we can see you all next.
Love,
Dudleys

Hi, cousins! Merrilyn here reporting on the ever growing Everett limb of
the Boyack family tree.
Summer is over. I have been living in the "Golden Paradise Inn"
a residence for the elderly infirm for five months now, and I guess I'll spend
the rest of my life there, because I can't stand up and walk without assistance,
and am therefore limited in my activities. On the bright side, I think I
still have my mental faculties and can function, ever so slowly, sitting down.
Al springs me from "the home" on Sunday Mornings and I go to Sacrament
Meeting with him and then home for the afternoon. Reid and Marilyn have
been so thoughtful to invite us to dinner nearly every Sunday, which is a real
blessing to us--not only the good food, but the good company we enjoy there.
Marilyn's parents are also elderly and frail, and Marilyn goes and brings them,
too, as neither of them drive anymore. Yesterday was a special day,
because it was their 61st wedding anniversary. Marilyn had made a little
wedding cake, and we had schnitzel (spelling )? and sauerkraut for dinner.
This was Maureen's influence after her semester in Vienna last fall.
Today Marilyn and Lauren and Maureen are on their way to Provo to start school.
Maureen is a senior and Lauren a freshman, and they are both on full tuition
scholarships.
Only Joel (15) will be at home. He's looking forward to being an only
child.
Our kids are getting older, too. This month marks Brian and Sandy's 30th
wedding anniversary, Keith and Judy's 22nd, and Wayne and Wendy's 20th.
Reid and Marilyn had their 25th in May. Brent and Melissa are still
adjusting--they have only four years behind them.
Al is carrying on at home by himself. He's good about coming to take me
home for a few hours a couple of days a week. It is a hard task for him
loading and unloading my wheelchair, as he, too, feels his age (84). Last
year I convinced him that he had paid his dues, and he did not have to go help
with the grape harvest at our welfare vineyard.
Love to you all, and I hope many of you post a note and tell about your doings.
August 24, 2003
Folks,
Many people are waiting to read what is happening with you and your
families. Now is a good time since it is more than 1 year since the
last reunion and less than one year to go before the next reunion.
Also, some of you have had weddings and such that it would be great
to
POST on the website.
Cheers.

I just realized as I wrote the "subject" that Jerry and I are the only
Moffitts now since all four daughters have taken new last names. We are
happy for
all of them. Today I have been reading old editions of the
"Piper," since
1962. That inspired me to get on the web and read more recent entries,
which I
have just done and enjoyed. This really is a simple and direct way for us
all
to keep in touch - so much easier than all the effort that went into the
printed "Piper" of yesteryears. And yet I noticed that there
were three editions
per year put out over several years.
We returned to San Jose from our Spokane mission on July
12th, having
spent almost two weeks traveling home and visiting family and friends in
Seattle,
Tacoma, Portland, Davis, and Livermore. We went from Livermore back to
Oakland to attend our stake's temple day at 2 p.m. before really going home to
S.J.
That was a fun experience - a lovely reunion with members of our home
stake.
We are now living with Debbie and Matt who are buying our
house. In a
few months a house being built jointly by Heidi and Alan and us in Temecula will
be completed and then we will move into our three room suite there.
Merrilyn
and Roy are also in the process of building a house, so most of our family
are in some kind of transition. But even so we managed to get everyone
together
for three days of camping at Shaver Lake near Fresno. Jeanie and Garrett
came from Illinois and stayed for a week after our camping trip. It was
great
being all together.
We loved our mission and hope to "sign up" again
after we get settled.
We are trying to down-size and simplify by discarding and giving away THINGS.
(Thus the trip through the old "Pipers.") Love to all,
Bev & Jerry

I was some years ago in the Spanish Fork cemetery snooping around for some of
our dearly departed. I came across the grave markers of James, Margary and
Deseret Boyack that had some poignant verse as inscriptions. I'm thinking the
love of lofty sentiment, well expressed, had early root in the family. Some of
you might be interested. All's well with us. Megan is back from her first year of
college at Dixie. She'll be home till January when she hopes to be accepted to
BYU Hawaii. Nathan and Lisa are expecting in February. Pam and I will be groovy
grandparents. (I'm hoping she never sees this entry.,) Seth is still trying to
get a foothold in Austin, so we'll see what the future holds for him there. The
rest of us are just home hanging out being cool (and groovy). Our best to all.

Hi, one and all,
May 6, 2003
Merrilyn reporting
I am so grateful for all of you dear kinfolk. I've just
now got caught up on all the reunion news that many or you wrote about.
I've been away from my computer since January, when I fell hard on my backside,
fracturing my sacrum in three places. So the last four months I have been
in three hospitals, and now am living in an assisted living home for the
elderly, because my Parkinson's disease is not allowing me to be able to take
complete care of myself. It is a very comfortable situation, only six
"inmates" (the staff refers to us as "residents") with two
caring caretakers on duty at all times. At 76 I may be the oldest Boyack
cousin, but I am the youngest of the six. Three of the old ladies have
Alzheimer's, which makes it interesting.
I do petty well sitting down--just have a hard time standing
and walking, and I get very bored at the home playing Scrabble and reading, when
I have so many unfinished projects at home. So Al has brought me home
today for a few hours so I can check the e-mail, etc. I hadn't checked the
Boyack web site for a long time, and was so happy to read all the entries about
the reunion. We were sorry not to be able to come. When Brent and
Melissa came to Fresno the weekend of my birthday in March, they showed us the
video Brent had taken at the reunion. It was good. We know we missed a
good time.
Since Brent is the only one of our family who ever seems to
report in the Piper, I will update you on our growing family. We now have
three great grandchildren; Brian is a Grandpa three times over. Kelli and
Brandon each have a son, and Brandon's wife had a baby girl, Kaitlyn, on May
1st.
It's a kick to see your children being good parents, and an even greater kick
when you see your grandchildren being good parents. We give credit to our
great parents and grandparents who set the standards for us to live by.
Love and blessings to you all,
Merrilyn

Hi everyone,
Well I have tried to send an entry several times but for some reason it hasn't worked. So
I will try again....
This is Vicki Berg (Boyack) writing, the oldest child of Mary and Dick of Minnesota. First
it was great to see so many people turn out for the reunion. It really meant a lot to our
whole family that so many people made the treck!
Well my big news is that I was married on October 12, 2002 to a wonderful man, Micheal
Berg. We were married in Elbow Lake (my hometown) and had the reception/dance in Fergus
Falls - 20 minutes away (his hometown). It was a wonderful day, but like most wedding
days, went by was too fast!!
I also started a new job the Monday after the wedding (not a stressful time or anything).
I am now working for the Minneapolis School District as a Certified Occupational Therapy
Assistant (COTA) and I absolutely love it. I am so glad that things worked out and I was
able to take the job! I miss my kids at the daycare I used to work for, but couldn't
imagine doing anything else than what I am doing now. Mike, my husband, is a press
operator at a print shop in Golden Valley. His company, Ace Label, prints or makes the
designs on adhesive labels. His has moved his way up to lead press operator and he very
much enjoys his job.
Well I wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season and look forward to seeing everyone
at the next reunion. I am very excited to have Mike meet all of my wonderful family!!
Until then....
Love,
Vicki and Mike Berg

Greetings from Rocklin and the Richard and Kathy Knecht branch of the clan!
We are all well and happy and enjoying the first rain fall in many months. We love
Northern California for its abundant sunshine, but after a long and dry summer, the rain
is so welcome.
Dallin is finishing up fall baseball and loving it. He turns 12 in a few weeks and is
eagerly awaiting joing the real scout troop. He loved camp this summer, and has earned his
first class rank already. Basketball is just around the corner.
Geoff is enjoying his sophomore year at Rocklin High, and loves Jazz band and all things
musical. He spends his waking hours either on the trumpet, guitar, or with good friends,
for which we are grateful.
Shauna is mid way through her sophomore year at the Y, and has settle on a psycho
degree---just like dad(He's psycho, you know)
She too, has great friends and has been richly blessed in the first two years in Provo. We
are grateful to my sibs and their families for the support they extend to Shauna, so far
away from us. We always know that she is taken care of by Beth, Brian, John, Cina or some
loving soul.
Kathy is busily engaged in the usual things. She is singing this year with the Sacramento
Choral Society's "Choir of St. Cecilia" and loving it. Her on line music
publishing is going great. Somehow, in her spare time, she keeps us all fed and happy. She
is a rock!
Hope all is well with each and every one of you. If you're ever tripping through
Sacramento, do stop in.
Richard

Thought I'd add a few notes to the Piper from the Antelope Valley!
Life keeps us very busy!
Most recently, Roy had a tonsilectomy, from which he's still recovering after 10 days. It
has not been easy, but it's been woth it! He can now breathe without any obstacles. His
tonsils were so big that he only had about an 1/4 " space in his air passage to
breathe through. But, it's all different now, without the two golfballs, I mean tonsils,
in his throat. Since, they were infected, we believe them to be the source of many of his
illnesses and discomforts. Hopefully, that will be the case.
Other than that, he has been enjoying a fairly new position as Supervisor in his branch at
the Air Force Research Lab. He began this position last September, and has enjoyed seeing
much growth, both technically and physically. With new work to do, he has to hire new
employees, which is great, considering his branch is one of the smallest in his Division.
He is also actively enjoying his archery hobby, which the whole family participates in as
well. In fact, recently, we went to Las Vegas for a tournament, which gave us occasion to
visit Ted and Helen Boyack. The bonus that weekend was a visit from Alan & Trudy,
Megan Boyack, seeing Nathan Boyack after a very long time and meeting his bride, Lisa.
What a great weekend!
I am working in the local school district as a para-educator, this being my 3rd year.
Previous to this year I helped in a Kindergarten class. This year, I'm still trying to
find a position that I enjoy as much, since I was displaced at the end of the last school
year due to budget cuts. I currently work in a reading lab at a nearby school. I am also
enjoying being a co-leader for Michaela's Brownie troop and doing various other volunteer
work for the Girl Scouts. I'm finding my
niche in life as I work in this great youth organization, like I studied to do at BYU.
Michaela is in 3rd grade. She is being challenged this year, trying to balance school and
various extra-curricular activities. She has just started taking piano lessons and
enjoying that very much. She has also been taking a crochet class, and swimming, along
with her Brownie activities. She's one very busy little girl. We're sorry that we missed
the Minnesota reunion. Michaela started school that next day which made it difficult for
us to travel that weekend. We're looking forward to the 2004 one hosted by Alan and Trudy.

Hi Everyone!
This is Debbie Moffitt Torrens writing to you with some impromptu wind for the piper. I
accidentally slept through the time I was supposed to meet my running partners this
morning, so instead I decided to check e-mail & voila, John's plea lured me.
My family now has five members and was established almost ten years ago. My husband, Matt,
is a Geography & U.S. History teacher at Saratoga High School. Our daughter Sydney is
five and attends Kindergarten. We have two sons: Tyler who's two andDrew who's 5 months
old.
We live in my parents home in San Jose. Using two rooms as classrooms, I run a small
pre-school business out of the house four mornings per week using the "Joy
School" curriculum. Life is good, but it's amazing to me how much it has changed from
"before kids". We havn't been to a movie theater in five months. We're pretty
content to watch AFV on Friday nights (sort of like the Moffitt family's Donny & Marie
tradition). The life of "growing" human beings is very rich and rewarding.
The little brothers and I walk Sydney to Miner Elementary school each morning and I'm
always amazed when we make it out the door dressed and happy and on time. It's quite a
task to get everyone out the door, but the routine is getting more refined all the time.
Our family really enjoyed the Boyack reunion in Minnesota. It was fun to mingle with such
great people and role models. One highlight for me was going for a run with Carrie
Sandholtz in the middle of the day Saturday, then swimming in the lake afterward. Please
excuse any typos or misspelling. It's time to start a new school day!
Debbie (Deborah) Torrens
October 11, 2002
Dear Cousins, one and all,
Shame on me for not writing in sooner. I so enjoyed the reunion vicariously through Beth
and Bri and John and Cina and the pictures. They are wonderful. One day I may even add to
the Memory Wall, and Ken, what a great idea. Let's keep it going.
Just a note to who or whomever gets that in here. It is Camp CAZADERO. It is misspelled in
the copy, an easy thing to do when you are reading things "writ by hand."
I found a new leg doc who wanted to change both knees and a hip, but was willing to try
the new injection that lubricates the joint .. at least knees. I have done one series of
three and I think it has helped. It is not cortisone, but a fluid of high viscosity
injected after the area is novocained. It is a bit uncomfortable for a day or so, but not
bad. I will do the right knee after the holidays. They don't do hips that way yet and that
is my main problem.
We will soon have 3 new twigs on the Knecht branch. Cina and John are on #4, Jared and Jen
(Bill's oldest son) are on #2, and Mike and Shalyn (Bill's 2nd) will greet #1 in the
spring. That makes 21 and 3 in our generations.
It is lovely to see Lamyrl and Sandy at the Temple on Wednesdays. They finish their shift
as I start mine.
All of the Citrus Five are perking along and I hope will write in.
Love you all and hope everyone is well and happy.
Eunice

In response to the call for Piper input, here we go: We are enjoying our
extended mission months here in Spokane. September has been a beautiful
month and we've taken advantage of the early evening sunlight and the
Spokane River and often had a short picnic when it was too nice outside to go
into our apartment. This weekend we look forward to attending general
conference via satellite and will once again feel the joy of attending conference
with so many people we know and love - relatives and friends, even though we
will not be housed in the same building, or city, or state or even country.
What a wonderful world-wide opportunity to hear from a prophet of God. Hope
the Utah weather will be glorious for the conference days - and everyone
else's weather too.
Love to all, Elder & Sister Moffitt (Bev & Jerry)
p.s.
We loved our short reunion vacation and being with so many of you in
Minnesota. The memories linger on and I trust that the happy feelings of the Dick
& Mary family - over what they accomplished - do also.
September 27, 2002
Thank you, John, for the reminder.
To repeat a phrase from Pipers long past, "Everything is going just fine here on
Murphey's Lane (or in our case here in Sonora and
radiant points.) Murphey's Lane, of course, was the almost lifetime home of Uncle Ray and
Aunt Kate and they were steady contributors to the Piper.
The report: Our eldest, Nathan and his wife, Lisa, are just barely not newlyweds, but
still doing great. Nathan is working for a Utah Valley based company getting a foothold
for them in the Las Vegas area.
He's the lead man there and getting wonderful experience. Lisa is following in her dad's
footsteps doing some medical research in a Las Vegas Hospital.
Nathan is still planning MBA school in a couple of years, they're thinking maybe on the
east coast.
While I was enjoying the grassy slopes of the lake shore at the reunion Seth was telling
me (by cell phone) that he's planning on moving to Texas come the first of the year. He's
met a young lady he's quite fond of who lives in Austin, and that's one incentive for the
move. Plus, he's been working hard on his music and believes he'll have more opportunity
to explore musical possibilities there than in Utah... my guess is he's right. He's very
close to getting his AA and plans to continue toward his BA at the University of Texas
after he establishes residency.
Megan is off to college as a freshman at Dixie State College in St. George, Utah. Till
recently it's been a J.C. and is the proud alma mater of many distinguished Boyacks such
as Grandpa Dean, Uncle Alan, and Cousins Ted and Jeff. She's having a great time and is
looking forward not having to freeze at a Utah college this winter.
Hannah is a junior at Sonora High. She's enjoying her classes (but their hard) and she
plays on the tennis team- another proud Dean C. Boyack tradition (not the team, but the
tennis). Daniel is in fourth grade, loves his teacher , plays soccer and will be starting
roller hockey in a few weeks.
Pam and I just try to make something of the blur.
The reunion was terrific! Truly good times were had by all.
Thank you so much to the Dick Boyacks and Ken for a job so well done and for so many
wonderful memories made and taken home by us all.
Our love to you all.
Doug Boyack

Greetings from an Iowa cousin.
Mary and I attended your reunion in Park City in 1989. We
recall with pleasure your warm hospitality and the enthusiastic participation in your
well-organized reunion.
Special regards to Wayne out there in Washington.

Second generation Third generation Generation X
Ice Cream Party
July 23, 2002
Hi Everyone,
By now most of the mosquito bites have hopefully healed and you have only the best of
memories of the Minnesooooda Reunion. We want to extend our thanks to all of you who
volunteered talent, worked with one of the groups for the program, helped Doug with the
church service, led the sing-a-long, led us to the bridgeman ice cream place, got the
water slide going, or in any other way helped along. I also want to thank Sandi for all
the "computer work" she did in getting folders, name tags, etc. ready. It really
does take a WHOLE family to make a good reunion and I think this was soooo much fun. The
photos that are coming via mail and should soon be on the web site included some of the
highlights. I'm not sure what order they'll be in but I'll give you a brief rundown on the
5 rolls of pictures! We started Thursday night with a skit by Vicki, Mandi, Sandi, and
Mike on how to talk "Minnesoodan" and a few things everyone needed to know in
Minnesota (there's no soda only pop, all sentences end in dere den so the other person
knows when to speak, the Minn. wave, and the most popular Minn. food--hotdish especially
tater tot hotdish). We continued with a song to the tune of "Take me out to the
Ballgame" (Take me to Minnesota) and a square dance. Mandi was in charge and did a
wonderful job of organizing and getting all the talking Boyacks to actually do some
dancing. We did a mixer, 2 square dances, and then the Virginia Reel. A few of the teens
also did some line dancing to "Cotton Eye Joe." Some fireworks mysteriously
showed up and after appling much mosquito repellent, we went outside to enjoy the 4th of
July show. LaMyrl and Sandy's clan brought some flags and with them parading around, we
all sang some patroitic songs. Jeanie Anderson also played her trombone for us. Cousin Ken
thought up the memory wall on which each of us could write memories of the first
generation and tape them throughout the reunion. (See 2002 Reunion Memory Wall for all the
memories.) Then there was, of course, Boyack scotchbread made by Sandi and Mary, and
cookies and lemonade to end the evening. Friday brought the second generations breakfast
and the program rehearsals. After lunch a tour of a logging camp was arranged and many of
us went to see that. There were people dressed in the late 1890 garb to tell us about life
in a logging camp and show us the various buildings like the bunk house, dining hall,
barn, and blacksmith shop. Some cousins used a crosscut saw to saw a piece of log. Then
one could hike down to the boat that floated down the river with the logs and the men who
had to keep the logs from jamming up. The guy on the boat even played his accordian for
us. The rest of the pictures on the disc are from the program which cousin Ken hosted and
which featured the various age groups "doing their thing." It was grand!! Of
course no reunion is complete without a sing-a-long (wonderfully led by Beverly) and some
keyboarding by Bob Jacobs and Kurt Sandholtz. Saturday morning was the first cousins
breakfast where we also listened to a tape brought by cousin Sue Dahl in which the first
generation and many cousins talked at the first Minnesota Reunion to Clif and Grace who
were on a mission in New Zealand. The Boyack highland games were held on the lawn outside
the lodge. Then there were some "intense" games of horseshoe, shuffleboard, and
mini golf along with some relaxing, talking, and regular golfing at the course right there
at Quadna. Sat. afternoon Vicki took a big group into Hill City (1 mile) for the family
softball game which turned into a softball tournament as there were enough for four teams!
I didn't get any pictures of it as we stayed at the lakeside but if anyone has some, feel
free to send them to Dave. The rest of the afternoon was spent on the lake with pontoon
rides by Mike, canoes, paddleboats, diving off the raft, and fishing with an old cane pole
and yes we actually caught some sunfish which we then released. Kurt Sandholtz bought a
large sheet of plastic and borrowed a garden hose to wet it and we had ourselves a water
slide! It was a riot!! Then Sat. night was the banquet hosted by Dick, with souvier
glasses and M & M's from Uncle Hal who always brought them for our kids when we were
with him, and talent by Jane Bartholomew (flute), Heather Sabin (piano), Jeanie Anderson
and Wayne Sandholtz (trombone), and the Jacobs women with Bob accompanying them. Brent and
Melissa Everett had taken a few cousins on Friday night to the Bridgeman's ice cream place
in Grand Rapids (20 Miles) and about 30 of us set out Sat. night after the banquet to have
ice cream. And did we have ice cream...check out the size of the "bowls of ice
cream" Mike, Gary, Julie, Megan, and Britt have in front of them!! Sunday morning we
gathered for Grandpa George's Sunday School led by Doug. Kurt played the organ and Debbie
Sabin led us in song. Many gave very touching testimonies. With the memory wall as a
constant reminder of the great examples and love of those who have gone before us, and all
of us gathered in love for each other and God, we were all blessed to have been involved
in the service and in the reunion. The theme "Celebrate the Tradition" not only
of our wonderful country but especially of our family and of reunions that allow us to
know each other was very appropriate and we enjoyed each and every one of you who made the
great effort to come to the Minnesooodan Reunion!
All our love,
Mary, Dick, Ken
Vicki, Mandi, Sandi, Mike

job and we do appreciate it!

The reunion memory wall was thought of by cousin Ken Boyack. During the Minnesota
reunion everyone was asked to write down memories that they had of the first generation.
After the reunion we compiled all the memories and typed them out. They are now posted on
the "2002 Reunion Memory Wall" page of this
site. We encourage anyone that wasn't at the reunion to add to these memories!

2004. Alan or I {john knecht} will be sending out notifications and announcements for all

Hats Off to the Hal Boyack Branch for creating a wonderful reunion. It was great to
see the folks that came for the Mosquito party ::)). We had a great time and our children
loved getting aquinted with the 4th Generation of Boyack kids. The softball tournament and
ice cream party {I hope the ice cream shop has recovered from the Boyack invasion} was
great. Thanks for all of Dick and Mary's kids, Ken, Dick and Mary for a wonderful time.
